Fun Filled Days of Family Entertainment
The Jim Bowie Days Association, which consists of twenty-two hard working individuals who with the help of their families and numerous volunteers work tirelessly to host and put on a seven-day event of family fun and entertainment. We pride ourselves in providing scholarships and supporting youth and civic organizations in the area.
As a sponsor, your support will be acknowledged during the seven-day event which has a projected attendance of 9,000 fans and more than 700 contestants from all over the United States. Attendees come out to enjoy and participate in a Golf Tournament, Bass Tournament, Open Barrel Race, two Youth Rodeo Performances, Youth Mutton Busting, FFA Calf Scramble, Parade, Youth Dummy Roping, Frog Jumping Contests, Turtle Races, Hamburger Feed, Corn Hole Tournament, Indian Artifacts Show, Quilt Display, Pet Parade, Queen Contests, Dutchess Ceremonies, Rodeo Dances, and three action packed UPRA Rodeo performances.
The Jim Bowie Days Association is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)3 Organization and supported by the UPRA and numerous local civic organizations.
